INTERNSHIP SEMESTER

During an internship semester at DIM Rosenheim, you gain an in-depth insight into everyday work life and learn how you can apply your knowledge at our company in a real-world situation. If it is important to you to take on challenging work right from the start, then this is the place for you.

During your internship semester, you will be given responsibility right from the beginning. You will become a fully-fledged team member, and you will have the opportunity to put forward your own ideas. Your main task will be to work on an agreed task related to engineering.

As is customary when you are part of a team, you will not be working in isolation. We will provide the advice and support you need. During the 3 – 6 months you are with us, you will have plenty of opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice.

While you are an intern, a member of the team will act as your mentor. Direct feedback and the acquisition of new skills will promote your professional and personal development.

STUDENT TRAINEE

You are enrolled in a course of studies in wood science, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or similar.

As a student trainee at DIM Rosenheim, you work on highly interesting projects in a day-to-day work environment in parallel with your university studies. You can gain some professional experience and earn money to help pay your tuition fees. We are looking for dynamic students who provide assistance on ongoing projects.

You work on engineering tasks as a member of a team and gain valuable insights which are closely related to your field of study. This is a big advantage to you at the university.

During the standard duration of the course of studies plus 2 semesters depending on the rules of the particular degree program, students can participate in trainee programs. Student trainees work 10 – 20 hours per week.
